“My husband and I are so happy we made the choice to get help from Internal Input to get rid of our timeshare. We are glad we put our confidence in them.” – Theresa W., Las Vegas, NV
“For years our family enjoyed our vacations using our timeshare. We took many memorable trips. Never had any complaints. Now we’re older and our children are grown. Time has not made it possible for us all to get together anymore due to our busy lives and our age. Even though we had years of great use of our timeshare it no longer meets the needs of our family.” – John C.
“We felt bullied into our contract from day one. We thought we were going to see a presentation of the advantages of having a timeshare. We were taken off the property to another location where we were presented with a sales team who wouldn’t let us leave until we signed the contract. We felt beat down by their on-going sales tactics. Eventually, out of frustration, we gave in since we knew we could cancel the contract within the first 3 days of signing. We just wanted to get out of there and get back to our vacation. We were finally taken back to the resort and we started calling to cancel our contract pretty much immediately. We had called at all hours during those three days. We never got an answer. Since we got no answer we realized we were stuck in this contract with no way out.” -Kathy P.
“Well, we went to our annual timeshare meeting. We had talked to them about exchanging our timeshare to a smaller and less expensive unit. The sales people were very understanding and told us this would be a great advantage for us so that we could still be a part of the resort and get the same advantages we always had but that fit our budget better. We left the meeting feeling relieved that we had made a better choice for our family then we come to find out months later not only did we get the new lower priced unit but they never made the exchange they promised. We were actually stuck with both units and felt we had no way out.” -Dan M.
“After the loss of my parents and having to deal with the emotional reality and responsibility of taking care of the funeral and tying up loose ends I found out that as the beneficiary of my parent’s trust, I was left with the financial responsibility of their timeshare. Apparently, there is a clause in these contracts that automatically transfers the ownership and responsibility to the owner’s beneficiaries. I tried to sell it only to find out that was basically impossible. Now I’m stuck with something I didn’t want.” -Wendi D.
“After years of never using our timeshare and paying high maintenance fees we had decided to sell it. We found a company who listed timeshares for sale with some of the top-selling magazines in the country. After paying a hefty fee to the advertising company, we came to find out this was just a scam some companies are using to fool people into giving them money. Even though they posted our timeshare as promised they never did anything else to find a buyer for us. We even tried selling for as little as $1.00, but never had any luck getting rid of it. We later found out that some of these companies will sometimes transfer the deed to themselves so it looks like it sold. Then they don’t pay the maintenance fees and 3 or 4 years go by and the resort moves it back to your name and starts trying to collect again. We felt very frustrated and it seemed like we’d be stuck with it forever.” -Carol B.
